ASTRONOMY
Who has not felt the attraction of deep space while looking up at the stars? Since the very beginnings, humankind has wonder at the brilliant dots that covered the dark velvet of the skies. They gave name to the images they saw, believing they were the gods and monsters who watched, or not, over them. Why did some stars move around them, and others remained fixed? Did they truly rule our destiny? Read More

HISTORY
In my research for my novels I have investigated ancient history of India, Egypt, Mesopotamia, and England. India fascinated me since very early, when I heard about the abandoned cities of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa. The new archaeological research on this civilization has shown how greatly advanced it was, even more than Egypt or Mesopotamia at that time, and it is my consideration that the Indus Valley Civilization dates from earlier even than Egypt or Summeria. The Younger Dryas impact hypothesis posits a comet of large proportions impacting North America around 12,500 years BCE and causing the end of that current glaciation, rising of oceans' levels and the demise of the great mammals and the Clovis people. Recent proof of a crater found in Greenland on 2018 sustains this theory.

GARDENING
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud By William Wordsworth (excerpt)

Meteorology is not the same as Climatology. Meteorology centers on short term weather forecasts for no much longer than 7 or 10 days. Climatology, on the other hand aims to understand, develop and analyze weather pattern models for long-term study, for months and years in the future. However, the links I've gathered are here, together, under Weather.
